KAIST MBIL(Molecular Biology & Imaging Laboratory) 연구실은 분자 생물학 및 이미징 기술을 통해 생명과학의 다양한 문제를 해결하는 것을 목표로 하며, 유전자 발현, 단백질-단백질 상호작용, 세포 신호 전달 등을 연구합니다.
첨단 고해상도 형광현미경 기술을 활용하여 실시간으로 세포 및 분자의 동태를 관찰/분석하여 생물학적 시스템의 원리를 이해하고 이를 기반으로 새로운 생명 현상을 발견하는 것이 주된 목표입니다.
나아가 MBIL 연구실은 혁신적인 연구 기술 개발, 다학제적 연구, 실용적 응용을 목표로 하며, 창의적이고 협력적인 연구 환경을 제공합니다. 석사, 박사 과정 학생 및 박사 후 연구원을 모집하며, 연구에 대한 열정과 호기심을 가진 지원자들을 환영합니다.

KAIST MBIL (Molecular Biology & Imaging Laboratory) aims to address various issues in life sciences through molecular biology and imaging technologies, studying gene expression, protein-protein interactions, and cell signaling.
Utilizing advanced high-resolution fluorescence microscopy, the lab observes and analyzes the real-time dynamics of cells and molecules to understand the principles of biological systems and discover new biological phenomena. Furthermore, MBIL focuses on developing innovative research techniques, conducting interdisciplinary research, and applying practical applications, all within a creative and collaborative research environment.
The lab welcomes master's and doctoral students, as well as postdoctoral researchers, who are passionate and curious about their research.
