Stem Cell and Differentiation Research Developmental and disease models

Lab Info.

We are interested in the observable and cell-intrinsic aspects of cell identity from a molecular systems-level perspective. Main research interests of the lab are:

1) Rewiring cell fate decisions in cancer

2) Decoding neurological diseases of development and aging

3) Mapping the “phylo-phenomic” evolution of the nervous system

Profile.

- 2024-present Assistant Professor, Department of Biological Sciences, KAIST

- 2018-2024 Postdoctoral Fellow, Institute of Molecular Systems Biology, ETH Zurich

Education.

- 2012-2018 Ph.D., Department of Neuroscience, Scripps Research

- 2008-2012 B.S., Life Science & Biotechnology, UIC, Yonsei University
